The Scriptures

That the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally inspired and without error in the original manuscripts. It has been preserved by God and is the only authoritative standard for life.

The Trinity

That the Godhead exists eternally in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and that these three are one God.

The Creator

That God is the sole creator of the universe, and that creation was by divine action, not through an evolutionary process.

Jesus Christ

That Jesus Christ, in the flesh, was both God and man; that He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life. He fulfilled Scripture by His acts and His atonement for sin accomplished by His death by crucifixion, His burial, and His bodily resurrection on the third day. Later, He ascended bodily to the Father’s right hand where He intercedes for believers as the Head of the Church.

The Fall of Man

That man, who was created in the image of God, sinned, incurring physical and spiritual death, and that, consequently, all human beings are born with a sinful and depraved nature.

Salvation by Grace

That, since Jesus Christ, by His shed blood, made a perfect atonement for sin, men are saved and justified on this single ground alone. Salvation with its forgiveness of sins, its impartation of a new nature and its confidence of eternal life, is entirely apart from good works, baptism, church membership, or any effort of man. It is by grace through faith alone.

Eternal Security

That a true believer is eternally secure, that he cannot lose his salvation, but that sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God and bring discipline from the heavenly Father.

The Holy Spirit

That the Holy Spirit is a person and, as God, possesses all the divine attributes. He indwells all believers, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation, and fills them in response to confession of sin and yieldedness.

The Rapture and Resurrection

That, at a believer’s death, his conscious spirit departs to be with Christ until the rapture, the glorious resurrection of the saints, at which time spirit and glorified body will be reunited and transported to Heaven to ever be with the Lord. This rapture may occur at any moment.

Christ’s Return

That, after the Tribulation Period, Christ, with the glorified saints, will return to earth where He will establish His Millennial Kingdom.

Final Judgment

That, at the close of the Millennial Kingdom, all the dead unbelievers will be resurrected to face judgment, after which, they will be cast into the lake of fire forever and ever.

The Church and Ordinances

That Christ gave the Church two ordinances: Baptism by immersion which is necessary for Church membership and the Lord’s Supper — Communion — which is the symbolic use of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine to commemorate the Lord’s death until He returns.
